The Meridian International Group, located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, starts producing faucets, valves, shower components and other machine products for some of the world’s leading plumbing companies.

100% IN-HOUSE MANUFACTURING

While many American and European manufacturers begin to source components and complete products from China, the Meridian Group expands by acquiring a historical European company, a  manufacturer of high-standard plumbing products since 1922.

Adjoining a national park and protecting the environment, GRAFF acquired a manufacturing plant that meets strict EMS and conservation standards. In 1996, GRAFF achieves ISO 9001 certification for its quality management systems.

The production of faucets and shower systems takes a twist towards interior design: GRAFF  is born and becomes the benchmark for luxury bathroom fixtures.

GRAFF introduces its first design collection: Targa

The collection is modern and elegant with smooth and slightly convex handles, gracefully matching the spout design.

GRAFF obtains the ISO 14001 certification for its production processes by meeting the standards for lean manufacturing and environmental management systems.

Luna, one of the most iconic among GRAFF’s collections is presented to the market.

Inspired by the shape of the crescent moon, its sublime, curved design appears to float along the wall and almost magically deliver a stream of water.

GRAFF RAISES THE BAR

All GRAFF products adhere to eco-friendly standards by automatically including a water-saving device.

GRAFF premieres at International Salone del Mobile - a global benchmark event for the design sector - showcasing new collections in a sleek stand designed by Davide Oppizzi, creator of GRAFF's acclaimed and award-winning Ametis collection.

GRAFF presents Dressage, its multi-award-winning furniture collection.

A multi-function showerhead with chromotherapy, the Ametis ring designed by Davide Oppizzi wins the Best of Year Interior Design Award.

After several successful bath collections, GRAFF inaugurates its kitchen faucets portfolio.

GRAFF introduces its wellness program, featuring hi-tech design products and shower systems equipped with chromotherapy, hydrotherapy and music therapy.

Introducing M-Series

M-Series is a new modular concealed system, designed by GRAFF to offer new solutions for the shower area, while also facilitating clean and efficient installations.

All GRAFF collections now include handles that are compatible with this system.

GRAFF launches the Art of Bath display concept: The exhibiting space becomes an art exhibition wherein artistic photography mixes with GRAFF masterpieces.

GRAFF inaugurates its first flagship store inside the prestigious Chicago Merchandise Mart. The Art of Bath concept becomes a permanent installation.

GRAFF enriches its finishes portfolio with two luxurious coatings: 24K Polished and Brushed Gold. 

GRAFF presents Harley, a new collection with a distinctive industrial-chic design.

This contemporary collection’s design was inspired by the stylings of the classic motorcycles, fusing an industrial aesthetic with details nostalgic of the all-American icons.

GRAFF presents Vintage, an industrial-style collection that pays homage to the 1934 Big Fire in the Chicago Union Stock Yards and to the heroic effort 1,600 Chicago firefighters made to extinguish it.

GRAFF creates MOD+, its first modular collection, an innovative way to customize every product.

A new configurator is created to help customers and designers mix and match the different finishes with the collections.

The Mod+ Collection wins the Archiproducts Design Award.

This celebration of excellence in design is great recognition for GRAFF, awarded by a high-profile jury of 60 international members from the worlds of architecture, photography, fashion, art, and communication.

GRAFF’s finishes portfolio is expanded with the introduction of six new PVD finishes and four living finishes.

PVD, Physical Vapor Deposition, is an innovative finishing process that allows for a very high level of surface hardness as well as an unparalleled resistance to atmospheric agents and detergents for daily cleaning.

GRAFF revisits some of its most successful classical designs to complete the collections and give them a fresher, more interesting look.

With over 400 new models and more than 25 collections, GRAFF is now able to offer every solution for master baths, shower areas, and powder rooms.

In response to an exceptional growth in demand, GRAFF decides to double the size of its production facilities by investing in additional human resources and new machinery.

GRAFF introduces the timeless Vignola collection inspired by Bologna's iconic porticos.
